VOWEL SOUNDS

    In phonetics, a vowel is a sound in spoken language, such as English ah! [ɑː] or oh! [oʊ], pronounced with an open vocal tract so that there is no build-up of air pressure at any point above the glottis. This contrasts withconsonants, such as English sh! [ʃː], where there is a constriction or closure at some point along the vocal tract. A vowel is also understood to be syllabic: an equivalent open but non-syllabic sound is called a semivowel.

REFLECTION:

I personally think the vowel sounds are a little more difficult than consonants but also very useful, however, most mispronounced words are vowels.

The position of tongue is a useful reference point for describing the differences between vowel sounds.

The vowels , it was exciting to know the correct pronunciation fo the words some letters have sounds, others don´t have sounds, their classification is different depende where you ubicate the sound, immediately we know if this letters has a sound or does´t have. It results easier if we over with a had one of our ears, it is a better way to sounds in the letters. 

One reason is the existence of a large number of vowel sounds that have no equivalent in Spanish. Hence, in practice you do not know how to put his mouth to imitate the sound (and besides, nobody tells you) and what you do is find the sound that seems to you nearest Spanish; option almost always wrong. Note that in Spanish we have five members and five vowel sounds, ie "a, e, i, o, u".
